NOC Engineer

Systems Engineering’s Network Operating Center (NOC) includes technicians and engineers with a wide-range of skills in our LAN and WAN infrastructure technologies. A NOC Engineer will triage, troubleshoot, and remediate trouble tickets in support of the technologies we deploy for our clients. A NOC Engineer will also assist with project implementations including basic configuration and deployment of networking and voice hardware.

As such, we are seeking an entry-level NOC Engineer with the following technical experience:

A minimum of two years of related technical experience (experience in a service-based environment is preferred), with basic experience in our core technologies, including:

  • Basic understanding of network fundamentals,
  • Experience working with firewall technology (Cisco ASA and Meraki security appliances preferred),
  • Basic knowledge of at least two infrastructure technologies including Cisco Routing, Switching, Wireless, VoIP, Unified Communications (including Call Center, IP PBXm Unified Messaging, and Presence), and Security Solutions,
  • CCENT, Network+, and/or Security+ certifications desired.
